Here's just a small sampling of the many musical projects Elyadeen has been involved with recently.
Since 2009, Elyadeen has been a member of New York City's prominent pop/funk ensemble, EMEFE. The brainchild of Miles Arntzen, EMEFE began as an afrobeat band honoring the work of Fela Kuti and Antibalas, before assuming its own identity by forging more modern sounds and technology. The result is an all encompassing emotional journey of a performance, and Elyadeen can be heard as a guitarist on their three albums, Europe, Good Future, and 2015's EMEFE.
Since 2013, Elyadeen has been writing and performing original music with his own group, Self Esteem. They released a self titled EP in the winter of 2014, and have continued to electrify audiences around the East Coast with their driving, melodic sound.

Elyadeen met bassist Marty Isenberg while they were both students at New York University, and since then have been performing together in various formats, from trios providing ambiance in restaurants around New York's Lower East Side to large swing dance ensembles at weddings and parties throughout the East Coast.
